BPT – Bachelor of Physiotherapy :

Bachelor of Physiotherapy( BPT ) is an UG degree program in Physiotherapy. The course duration is 4.5 years academics along with 6-month Internship Program.

The candidates must have passed 10+2 exam with a minimum of 50% marks in each of the subjects with compulsory Biology/ Life Science as one of the core subject in higher secondary. But in some colleges it is required to get 60%marks in 10+2 exam.

DPT – Diploma in Physiotherapy( DPT )

Diploma in Physiotherapy( DPT ) is a Diploma level program in Physiotherapy. The course duration is 2 years. In this course the students are trained in variety of Rehabilitation Techniques, Treatments, and Exercices.

Eligibility:

The candidates must have passed 10+2 exam with a minimum of 50% marks in each of the subjects with compulsory Biology/ Life Science as one of the core subject in higher secondary.

• To be eligible to pursue DPT course, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination in Science stream from the recognized board of education.
• Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate score of 45% or more in the qualifying exam in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and/or Mathematics.
• A few of the college's candidates also need to appear for the entrance exam.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

BPT is a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, an undergraduate program focusing on human body structures. After completing the course, it also offered a six-month internship program, which will last four and a half years. Physiotherapy is a one-of-a-kind treatment that uses physical forces such as heat, electricity, and mechanical pressure.

Physical therapy is typically used to maintain and restore maximum movement and functional capability throughout one’s life. Therapy aids in the treatment of illnesses without the use of drugs. Physiotherapists thoroughly understand human anatomy, including the complexities of bones, muscles, and nerves. The program will cover physical movement, post-fracture maneuvers, injury, and other topics.

Eligibility

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements set forth by the institute, which are as follows:

• They have received a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 board test from a recognized institute.
• Students must have passed their secondary school board examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Math as their core subjects.
• At the time of application, candidates must have completed their 17th year.

Scope

A physiotherapy student can pursue higher study and specialize in the discipline of physiotherapy. BPT graduates are also eligible for postgraduate degrees in hospital administration, business management, public health management, and various other fields. A physiotherapist working in a hospital should expect to get paid at least Rs. 5-6 lakhs per year. Remuneration rises with experience, depending on work production and the sort of company in which they work.

MPT - Master of Physiotherapy

Master of Physiotherapy( MPT) is an PG level degree program in Physiotherapy. The course duration is 2 years after the completion of relevant UG degree. In this course the students are allowed to get both practical and theoretical Knowledge & experience. MPT has a variety of specializations in Cardio-Pulmonary Sciences, Neurosciences, Orthopedics, Community Physiotherapy, Geriatrics Physiotherapy, Musculoskeletal Science, Health Promotion and Disability Rehabilitation, Sports Science, and Pediatrics. After the completion of MPT, the candidates can aslo pursue Ph.d in Physiotherapy/ M.phil.

Eligibility

The candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor degree in the same field from a recognized university. Compulsory 6-month Internship in the Physiotherapy field from a reputed organization. A minimum of 50% marks in the required Entrance Exam.

The students are also eligible for the 2nd year B.pharm lateral entry program.

BOT – Bachelor of Occupational Therapy:

• Occupational therapy is primarily a profession which deals with healthcare. 
• While pursuing the bachelor's degree in Occupational therapy, students learn about human development, anatomy, and health service management.
• An Occupational therapist is responsible for treating ill and injured patients via the therapeutic use of daily activities.
• This field is a fast growing field and is expected to grow faster in the near future.
• The two major subjects, aspirants learn while pursuing bachelor in occupational therapy is Biology and Philosophy.

Eligibility

Candidates aspiring for admission to the course are required to fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria.

• 10+2, completed from a recognized educational Board.
• Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics as the main subjects of study at the 10+2 level.
• A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
• Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply for the course on a provisional basis.
